COVID-19 Information and Virtual Sessions

 

A message from Carissa Brown Holscher, CCHt.
In response to the prevention of spreading of COVID-19 and sheltering in place, I would like to provide both resources for you to stay mentally strong, as well as let you know that I am now offering virtual hypnotherapy sessions (either by phone, Facetime, Zoom, or Google Hangouts). This will allow you to receive private hypnotherapy services while still helping to prevent the spread of the virus. Single Virtual session (or pay-as-you-go) is now 25% off of the single session rate.

Take an additional 25% off of the already discounted prepaid package prices 

  • 3 session package-- do at least one virtual session by June 1st- if there are any remaining sessions they may be in person. 
  • 6 session package-- do at least two virtual sessions by June 1st, if there are any remaining sessions they may be in person. 
  • 9 session package-- do at least three virtual sessions by June 1st, if there are any remaining sessions they may be in person. 
  • 12 session package-- do at least four virtual sessions by June 1st, if there are any remaining sessions they may be done in person.

Options if there is just one session remaining in a previously purchased package: 

  • Still eligible to purchase the discount deals. 
  • If the remaining session is used virtually during this time, receive a $50 credit towards future purchases.

  • Or, if two or more sessions are used virtually, receive ONE FREE in person session ($160 value, once doors are back open). 


What You Can DO on your own to stay mentally strong during this time: 

  • Keep up with your regular sleep schedule. Go to bed and get up the same time as normal.
  • Get daily exercise, whether it is taking your dog for a walk, doing an online workout video, utilizing home exercise equipment, or dancing around your living room. 
  • Get daily sunshine. If you have a private yard, great. If not, sit by a window that is letting in direct sunlight. The little boost of vitamin D is helpful in stabilizing ones mood. 
  • Practice gratitude. This could be in the form of a gratitude journal or expressing it to others directly (phone, text, emails, letters, conversations, etc..)
  • Balance your schedule to get time to relax, time to do something constructive, time to take care of yourself and your living space, time to reach out to others. Or even make time to learn something new. 
  • Listen to calming meditation audios, or enjoy an uplifting podcast. 
  • Read a great book, or re-watch your favorite comedy. 
  • Get dressed and put on something that makes you feel good.
  • Take time to reflect on the things that are essential for you to live your best life post this pandemic. 
  • Virtual Hypnosis Sessions are also available to best serve your needs.

Preparing for your Virtual Session(s): 

  • Make sure your device is fully charged or able to be plugged into the charger. 
  • Have a quiet and comfortable place to relax (beds, sofas, or recliners work well). 
  • If you have a dog, you might want to walk them shortly beforehand, so they can relax while you are relaxing. 
  • Some people find that headphones are helpful (optional).  
  • Once we are on the call or virtual session, we will go over the instructions to set up all of the 'do not disturb' settings.
